The Bible - We believe... The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, consisting of sixty-six books, are the inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word of God. They are the sole authoritative rule given by God to His people for faith and practice.
God - We believe... In one true living God who is perfect, infinite, eternal, self-existent, unchangeable, who is creator and sustainer of heaven and earth and completely sovereign over His creation. In the trinity of God, though One in essence and substance yet composed of three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ - We believe... In Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is truly God and truly man. We believe He lived a perfect, sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross foe sinners, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present work in heaven as Intercessor, Advocate, Mediator, Prophet, Priest, Head of the Church, and Sovereign of the universe. In His personal pre-tribulational and pre-millennial return to Earth for the redeemed and in His one thousand year millennial rule.
The Holy Spirit - We believe... In the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, in His divinity, co-equal with the Father and the Son. In the convicting and redeeming ministry of the Spirit in the life of lost sinners, and in His indwelling and empowering ministry in the life of the redeemed.
Man - We believe... Man was created by God in His image and in His likeness to be in a personal relationship with Him and to bring Him glory. That through the willful and sinful act of disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin entered the world, as a result, all who have been born have been born with this sinful nature, separated from God and spiritually dead in need of regeneration.
Salvation - We believe... In the total depravity of man as a result of his fallen state. Because of his fallen state, man is incapable of saving himself or of contributing towards his own salvation. Men are redeemed by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone. Christ died a substitutionary death for the sins of all men and that salvation is a free gift. In the necessity of being born-again that comes through the acknowledgment and repentance of sin, asking and appropriating by faith Christ's forgiveness and trusting Him as Lord and Savior, all this apart from any good works of our own. That at salvation the believer is redeemed by the blood of Christ, justified by God, regenerated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, thus becoming a new creation empowered to live a holy and righteous life pleasing to Him, a life of service manifesting the fruit of their salvation. That the redeemed children of God are eternally secure in their salvation.
Church - We believe... In the universal Church instituted by Christ and of which He is her Head and Shepherd. The Church, the Body of Christ, is composed of all who have been redeemed by His blood and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. He instituted two ordinances to be observed by His people, baptism and the Lord's Supper. In the three-fold purpose of the Church: to glorify God, to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to edify and equip God's people for service. In the “Great Commission,” to make disciples of people in all nations.
Future Things - We believe... God is sovereign over all creation and over the affairs of man. In the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church and in His imminent, personal pre- millennial return to earth with His Church to establish His Kingdom on earth over which He will rule for a thousand years. That all men will be one day resurrected, the redeemed to have their works judged for rewards and the lost, those who rejected Christ and His salvation, to be judged accordingly and to be cast into the Lake of Fire into everlasting punishment.
